In the words of Charles Calel Colton, "The greatest friend of truth is Time, his greatest enemy is prejudice and her constant Companion is Humility". Truth is about humility to learn, the courage to stand and the mind to accept.
Loyality means I am with you whether you are right or wrong, but I will tell you when you are wrong and help you get it right. Loyality is not blind support; it is based on criticism and debate. Having the integrity and strength of character to guide, your friend to be good and help him do it is Loyality.
Dr Samuel Johnson in his “A Dictionary of the English Language (1755) defined honour as having several senses, the first of which was the nobility of soul, magnanimity, and scorn of meanness.” Rightfully, honour is about integrity, benevolence and good is the hallmark of an honourable person.
Dr. Nelson Medela said, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but the one who conquers the fear". Herein lies the ethos of Bravery. It is the courage to stand up for righteousness in spite of fear.
